I woke up and found that my thumb was badly swollen for no apparent reason, so I went straight to Orthopedics and got it checked out. I made an appointment by phone and went in right away, but there were already a lot of patients waiting, so it took some time before I could speak with the doctor. They said they wanted me to get an X-ray first and then come back for the consultation, so I had the X-ray taken right away and then started the consultation. The doctor said there was a slight deformity in the bone of my thumb and symptoms of arthritis, but I was so flustered because the pain had suddenly started for no reason at all~ The doctor suggested that I try physical therapy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy together, so I’m working hard on my treatments. I really hope it gets better with consistent treatment. I’m happy that the doctors and staff are treating me so kindly.
