Fortunately, the ophthalmologist provided thorough treatment and care, and we received the necessary medication before safely returning home. Since this is a highly contagious viral eye disease, we plan to take the prescribed medication and apply the eye drops while ensuring she gets plenty of rest at home for a while. To prevent secondary infections among family members, we will diligently separate personal items like towels and soap, and pay special attention to hygiene practices like handwashing until she fully recovers.
