I went in for a regular checkup. I had a breast ultrasound, core needle biopsy, and thyroid ultrasound. Even though I had an appointment, I still waited for an hour, but the doctor was very thorough and kind.
I go to Mizuyu once a year for a thyroid check. Even with an appointment, I have to wait about 30 minutes, which is inconvenient, but the doctor is so kind that it makes it worth it. This time I went after a bit of a break and decided to do hormone tests as well. They took my blood... They said a new machine has arrived, so they did a very detailed ultrasound. The nodule has grown a little, so they did a fine needle aspiration and said we would check the results in a few days before I went home. I live far away, but every time I come to visit my family, I make an appointment and get checked, but I've been told to wait a year for a breast ultrasound, so I'll get it done closer to home. Having a female doctor is comfortable, and her credentials are impressive, so I really trust her. Even though doing various tests seems a bit excessive, considering my health is important.
The doctor is great, very friendly and explained everything well. The hospital is also clean.
