My 5-year-old daughter suddenly developed severe symptoms of gastroenteritis, along with a bad cough, so we went to the pediatrics department at VIC365. At first, I thought it was just gastroenteritis, but after the examination and tests, we found out that she had pneumonia as well. In the end, she had to be hospitalized for three days and two nights. Once she was admitted, they kept a close eye on her condition, treated her dehydration with IV fluids, and treated the pneumonia at the same time, so I actually felt more at ease than I would have worrying about her at home. Since she is still quite young, whenever she had a hard time because of the injections or treatment, the nurses carefully checked on her and took good care of her, which I really appreciated. They also explained her condition and the treatment process to me as her parent, so I could ask about anything I was wondering about right away. It was such a relief to see her gradually start eating, regain her energy, and cough less after being so limp and listless at first. Most of all, as a mother, I felt reassured knowing that she could be seen right away when she was sick and admitted for treatment if necessary. The three-day, two-night hospital stay was not easy for either of us, but seeing how much better she looked when she was discharged made me feel that she had received good treatment and that we had made the right decision.
