Because of the change in seasons, my child developed a bad cough and kept having a runny nose, so we went to an ENT clinic. My child already had rhinitis, so whenever the seasons changed or there was a big difference in temperature, the symptoms would come back right away. We were seen by Dr. Jang Min-seok. While examining the throat and nose, he explained everything in real time. He said it was a nasal virus, and that the symptoms seemed to have gotten worse because of the big temperature changes and because schools and academies have been running the air conditioning even during the day. He said we should make sure to wear a mask whenever possible, and that wearing about two thin masks would be more effective. We were also prescribed medication and a nasal spray. After taking the medicine for about two days, the symptoms improved a lot. I was happy that he gave us a detailed explanation and clearly explained the daily precautions as well.
