I heard that, due to having diabetes, I need to take good care of my eyes, so I decided to go to the hospital this time. The facilities were clean and the nurses were really friendly, so I thought it was a great clinic. After a simple check-up, I met with the doctors. I really appreciated that the doctors only provided the exact care I needed, and they gave me just the right amount of medication. They said that if I use the medication properly, the blurriness should start to improve a little. They also mentioned I should come back once the medication runs out. They believe I will feel even better then, haha.

I was a bit nervous as I was finally going into the consultation and then the surgery room. Once I lay down, I felt even more nervous than I expected. They told me to just look at the green light on the ceiling, so I focused on that. It was more stressful and uncomfortable than I thought. They used some device to hold my eyelids open, and the surgery began! It took about 4-5 minutes for each eye. It felt like they were scraping and peeling something away. Once they put on the final protective lens, the surgery was complete. After that, I finished well and was told to keep using artificial tears, which I did, and then I met the doctor again before being discharged. While I was putting in the artificial tears, I kept looking at the hospital ceiling lights. When I asked, I was told my phone was okay too. I just needed to be careful with the waterproof eye mask when outside in the sunlight or while showering. The doctors were very kind and it was all really great.
