This is my review after my second Brazilian Laser Hair Removal session! I had my second treatment this time, following my last visit, and the doctor was much kinder and asked me questions throughout the procedure, which made me feel very comfortable. I liked that they carefully checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort during the treatment. What I was most satisfied with was the pain level! Compared to the pain I experienced when I got waxing done before, it felt like only about one-hundredth as painful—it hurt so much less. Of course, everyone’s experience may differ, but I remember having to endure the pain every time I got waxed, so laser hair removal felt incredibly comfortable by comparison. Also, perhaps because this was my second treatment, it felt much less painful than the first one, so I was able to get through it more easily than expected. I also really liked how short the treatment took. Since it was over quickly instead of having to lie there for a long time and endure the pain, it felt much less intimidating, and the experience was far more comfortable than I had worried it would be. I was also given clear instructions on how to care for the area afterward, which was helpful. If you’re hesitating because of the pain of Brazilian waxing, I think laser hair removal is definitely worth considering. I was worried at first too, but after trying it twice, I’m much more comfortable and satisfied than I expected. Overall, I was very happy with the doctor’s friendly service and the quick treatment, and I plan to continue with the rest of my sessions. 😊

Once again, I came in to get a placenta injection and Adephos. Apple OB-GYN in Myeongdong is a clinic I visit frequently. I like that I can get both the placenta injection and Adephos at a relatively affordable price without having to wait. The placenta injection works so well that I can actually feel the effects after just one shot. I asked an AI whether getting the placenta injection and Adephos together would be more effective, and it said that it would. Apparently, if Adephos dilates the blood vessels and improves blood flow, it may help the active ingredients in the placenta injection get delivered or absorbed. Whenever I get the placenta injection, I definitely feel better and more energized. Since I’ve had it more than eight times now, I don’t notice the effects as much as I did in the beginning, but I think that’s because I’ve improved that much. I plan to keep coming back to get the injections in the future.

Since it’s near my workplace, I always come here whenever I need to see a doctor quickly. The nurses are kind, and the doctors who see me are kind as well. Since I’m a first-time mother, I have a lot of questions and worries, but I’m always grateful that they answer all my questions without ever seeming bothered.

It's close to the station, and the staff are very kind. NIFTY is also affordable. Even though I had the Plus test, it was much cheaper than the hospital I usually go to, so I came all the way here just to get the NIFTY test, haha. I definitely recommend this place for NIFTY testing.

The inside of the clinic was extremely clean, and the doctor and nurses were all very kind! They were also very thorough during the consultation, so I felt comfortable trusting them and coming in. They were careful with both the removal and insertion of my Implanon, and made sure it was as painless as possible!

I visited after making a reservation through Naver. Around lunchtime, there was a bit of a wait even though I had a reservation, so I had to wait a little before being seen. But when I visited early in the morning, I was able to see the doctor with almost no wait. My regular hospital was closed for summer vacation, so I made a last-minute appointment here and came in for a consultation. They examined me very thoroughly. The staff were extremely kind and took good care of all the documents I needed for my insurance claim. The doctor also explained everything I was curious about very well. The hospital facilities are very clean and comfortable. The waiting area is spacious too. The ultrasound image quality seemed much better than at other hospitals. I visited on a weekday morning and was seen right away, which was great!

It was a hospital I found after deciding to go somewhere near my office, without doing much research… but they gave me such a thorough consultation about the area that was bothering me, and I left feeling at peace. They explained that because we’re human and biological beings, things are different every time, and that we need to understand those differences… They also told me that when something is difficult, I shouldn’t just go through it physically on my own, but should get help in various ways. It really resonated with me… As I’m entering menopause, I felt both scared and uncertain about all the changes, but they put my mind at ease, so it felt less like a medical examination and more like I had gone in for healing!! Haha. Make sure to book an appointment before you go… This is an appointment-priority clinic. The nurses were also kind and wonderful! I truly recommend it if you’re in Myeongdong! I recommend Dr. Nam!

When I called several hospitals to inquire, this place was the kindest and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, so I decided to visit. As expected, all of the medical staff were very kind in person as well. I was extremely nervous since it was an OB-GYN clinic, but the visit started off very comfortably. During my consultation with the doctor, I was going to say that I wanted an abdominal ultrasound because I was scared of a transanal ultrasound, but before I even had a chance to say anything, the doctor said they would proceed transanally, so I was basically pushed into sitting in the chair. They said they would do it quickly and make sure it didn’t hurt, but it actually hurt so much... I didn’t realize it at the time, but apparently I had undergone the same ultrasound several years ago. I must not have remembered because it didn’t hurt at all back then, but this time it hurt so much that I wondered whether it was really the same examination. Even when I had a colonoscopy during a health checkup not long ago, it didn’t hurt this much. It really, truly hurt. I’m still experiencing severe bleeding and pain, so I’m planning to visit a hospital tomorrow... It was such a horrific experience that I feel traumatized. You’re better off getting a vaginal ultrasound... During the blood draw afterward, I was stuck with a needle three times, and they had to draw blood twice in total. The first time, I flinched slightly because it hurt, and they said that I had moved, causing the blood to leak, that there wasn’t enough blood, and that they needed to draw it again. It made me feel really bad. The next time, I was only stuck with the needle and they weren’t able to draw any blood. In the end, they called another staff member, who safely completed the blood draw from a different site. I knew going in that it probably wouldn’t be completed in one attempt because my veins are always difficult to draw from, but I wish that, once they determined it was a difficult case, a more experienced staff member had been brought in right away. It would have been less difficult for everyone. I already have anemia, and because the process didn’t go smoothly, I became extremely dizzy and had to rest for a while before going home. The staff were kind, and the various procedures were offered at fairly reasonable prices, so I had planned to continue going there. However, after these uncomfortable experiences, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Since this is a medical specialty with a high barrier to seeking care, a comfortable experience should be essential. I think improvements are needed in many areas.

The facilities and examination rooms are clean, and the wait usually isn’t long, so it’s not a burden. The doctors are very thorough during consultations and explain everything in detail in a way that’s easy to understand. The front desk staff are all very kind, too. There’s even a screen mounted on the ceiling for the ultrasound, so I don’t have to crane my neck to look at it. There are several doctors, but they post their schedules and days off, which is convenient because I can check the schedule and make an appointment for a time when my preferred doctor is available.
