My daughter’s friend works at Seoul Gangnam E-room Eye Clinic and said that the director was very good at cataract surgery, so I went there. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and all the nurses were so kind. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all during the examinations, and I was very pleased. Director Park Seong-je also explained the results of my eye exam in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. I went in worried that I might have cataracts, but thankfully my eyes were healthy and everything was fine. They told me to come in for an examination just once a year. I also heard about artificial tears that can be used when my eyes are dry, and it was suggested that I try to use preservative-free products as they might be less burdensome on my eyes. Additionally, I was advised that when looking at screens for a long time, it's helpful to take short breaks every so often and look at something far away to give my eyes a rest. Through this consultation, I learned that the eye strain I usually don't pay much attention to is related to my lifestyle habits as well. I realized that I need to manage my screen time better and develop the habit of giving my eyes breaks from time to time.
