I have a herniated disc, so my back often hurts, but when it's so painful that I can hardly walk, I always go to Smile Orthopedics instead of a big hospital, even if it means using a cane. If you go to Smile Orthopedics in the morning, you can usually expect to wait one to two hours, but after getting the nerve block injection, it's amazing how I can walk the next day. If waiting is tough, I recommend going late in the afternoon on days when they have evening hours. During the appointment, they also offer free massage and infrared treatment, so make sure to take advantage of those. If you ask them to turn on the massage mode on the bed, they will activate a thumping mode that feels really refreshing. For prescribed medications, they usually provide pain relievers and muscle relaxants for up to a month, so if you have back issues, I recommend getting a month's supply.

The doctor, along with all the nurses and staff, explained everything in detail during the treatment, even the small things. So I felt great after the appointment.
