It might seem like there's no internal medicine at the hospital's name, but it actually says DHC Daehang Surgical Internal Medicine Clinic, which means both surgery and internal medicine are available there. I visited because my health checkup indicated a glycosylated hemoglobin of 10.6. When I visited for the first time a week ago, I had the test done. The doctor is a woman who calmly explained everything and did a good job explaining my current condition, so I trust her. She asked me to keep track of my blood sugar, both fasting and two hours after lunch, for the next week to monitor my condition. After managing my diet, exercising, and taking the prescribed medication, my blood sugar has thankfully dropped to normal levels, which means I won't need insulin, and I'm relieved.

I’ve been getting sedated colonoscopies, sedated gastroscopies, lung CT scans, and various health checkups since 2006, but I don’t think there’s any hospital as systematic and thorough as this one when it comes to managing patients during endoscopic procedures. In particular, for procedures under sedation, they administer the appropriate anesthetic and monitor the heartbeat in real time. Their system is very well organized to prevent any possible accidents before they happen. They also provide a friendly valet parking service completely free of charge, so even when I drive there, I can visit comfortably without worrying about parking. Lastly, thanks to the medical staff, who provide stable and comfortable care without unnecessary treatment, I can always visit with peace of mind.
