Shin Eye Clinic

My 5th grader's eyesight has worsened, so we're getting an eye exam and using eye drops~~ They explain everything kindly and the nurses are friendly too~~

This is the clinic my child has been going to since elementary school and is still going to now that they’re in middle school. When a school health screening in third grade showed that their eyesight had gotten worse, we visited an eye clinic for the first time, and they told us my child needed treatment for nearsightedness. For the past few years, we’ve been putting in a drop of a medication called MyoGuard every day and then using artificial tears to wash it out after about a minute. It’s a simple method, and my child’s vision hasn’t gotten significantly worse while continuing to live normally. We chose MyoGuard and have been treating my child with it because I heard that night lenses require a lot of attention from the mother and are also expensive. I’m satisfied with the treatment. We’ll have to keep using the medication until my child turns 15, but seeing that their eyesight isn’t getting worse is reassuring.
