I'm leaving a review about my experience and the pain after getting Ultherapy.
Lately, whenever I take photos, my jawline doesn't look the same as it used to, and my cheek fat feels a bit saggy, so I've been stressed about it. Especially when I take side profile shots, my face line looks dull, so I ended up looking into Ultherapy.
At first, I was debating between this and Shurink, but I heard that Ulthera penetrates deep into the skin's layers with ultrasound energy to induce collagen regeneration.
First, let me summarize the parts I was curious about.
1. Pain
Honestly, it would be a lie to say it didn't hurt lol. Rather than a burning sensation on the surface of the skin, it felt like a tingling ringing from deep inside, and it hurt a bit especially near my jawbone. Still, it was bearable.
2. Swelling and Recovery
After it was over, my face was slightly red and sore, but it wasn't severe enough to significantly interfere with my daily life. There was a slight throbbing sensation when I pressed on it while washing my face, though.
3. Effects
I heard that the effects of Ultherapy don't appear immediately, but rather change gradually over about two to three months. So, I plan to wait and see for now. Personally, I would like my jawline to become naturally defined.
4. Cost and number of shots
I was hesitant because there was quite a price difference between hospitals, but I heard that having a lot of shots isn't necessarily better, so I realized it would be important to get a consultation tailored to my facial condition.
If you are worried about facial fat or your jawline like me, I think it would be a good idea to look into Ultherapy. However, since those with thin cheeks also need to pay attention to sunken cheeks, make sure to get a proper consultation!!
I'll also keep an eye on things and leave an update later if there are any changes haha.
