Which do you recommend for Ultherapy, sedation or IV anesthesia?

I have an appointment for Ultherapy next week, but I'm already nervous because there are so many reviews saying it's painful.

I am so afraid of enduring the pain that I am considering which anesthesia method to use. Was it bearable for everyone else to use anesthetic cream? Or would it be better to receive the procedure comfortably with sedation or IV anesthesia?

I would appreciate honest advice from those with extensive Ulthera experience!
