For those of you who received Ultherapy on one side of your face first, did you actually see a difference between the left and right sides immediately after the procedure?
I was looking into getting Ultherapy and saw a review where someone had one side of their face treated first and then compared the two sides. I am asking this question because I am curious if the difference between the left and right sides is actually noticeable.
If I have the procedure done on only one side first, will I notice an immediate difference, such as the jawline on the treated side appearing lifted or the cheek sagging looking less pronounced? Or is it difficult to make an accurate comparison immediately after the procedure due to swelling or temporary tightness?
I would like to know if the areas I am particularly concerned about, such as the jawline or deep cheeks, change on only one side first, and if the difference is clearly noticeable when looking in the mirror. I am also curious if the difference was more visible in photos for those who have taken and compared them.
Since changes resulting from collagen remodeling with Ultherapy appear gradually over time, official materials advise that even if initial changes are observed, the lifting effect becomes visible over a period of 2 to 3 months. In fact, I heard that even in studies where only one side of the face was treated, an increase in collagen production was observed on the treated side.
For those who have actually had the procedure done on each side, I am curious to know how the left and right sides changed immediately after the procedure, and after 1 month and 2 to 3 months. Did you notice little difference at first, but then feel that the treated side became firmer and lifted over time? I would appreciate your honest experiences.
