Question) Would laser treatment be good for old calf scars?

I have quite a few scars on my calves. They are very old scars, especially since they were sustained during my military service when I was young.

So I can barely wear shorts even in the summer.

So, I'm thinking of trying laser treatment this time.

But I have a question.

I would like to know if laser treatment completely heals the scar or only covers it to some extent, and how many sessions are required.

I also want to wear shorts and stay cool in the summer.
