My jaw area feels a bit strange after getting Shurink. Is this okay?
I had Shurink for the first time a few days ago, and I'm worried because since the procedure, the area around my jaw feels a bit different than usual when I touch it. It's not that I have absolutely no sensation; I can feel it when I touch it, but should I describe it as slightly dull or numb?
It doesn't feel very uncomfortable when I'm still, but when I touch or press around my chin while washing my face, I can feel a subtly different sensation. Sometimes I also feel a very slight tingling sensation, so I am worried that the nerves might have been stimulated during the procedure.
I understand that Shurink is a procedure that delivers ultrasonic energy to the deep layers of the skin, and I am wondering if it is possible to experience temporary changes in sensation or a tingling feeling after the procedure. If so, I would also like to know if it usually returns to normal naturally after a few days or weeks.
Has anyone who has received Shurink experienced a numb or dull sensation around their jaw or cheeks like I did? Please share your experience regarding how long it lasted and whether it naturally improved over time.
