How painful is the actual Shrink treatment?

I've been getting a lot of recommendations for Shurink lately as an introductory treatment, so I'm currently considering it. However, I am sensitive to pain, and I really don't want to get the procedure if it hurts. So, I'm curious about the level of pain involved, whether numbing cream is essential, and to give you an example of how painful it actually felt.
