First, Seoul Yonsei Ain Dermatology.
This is a dermatology clinic located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The interior is very neat and the facilities are clean.
It is located right in front of the subway station, so it is easy to find and convenient to use public transportation.
I received a laser treatment at the dermatology clinic that my whole family goes to.
My parents had the procedure done before me.
The first is a procedure to remove dark spots in middle age!
As my parents passed their late 50s and just entered their 60s, the blemishes on their faces started to get darker.
My mom, in particular, tended to have quite a few brown spots on her face.
It was actually darker than the photo.
Actually, I was quite worried before the visit.
I was worried about whether laser treatment would be suitable for my parents' age group, whether there would be any pain or side effects, and whether they might be recommended ineffective procedures.
When I visited for a consultation, the director explained the blemishes very thoroughly.
I thought the things on my mom's face were just simple blemishes, but it turns out they are dark spots!
Actually, I didn't really know what a surplus was, and that was the first time I learned what a surplus was.
I found it easy to distinguish them if you think of melasma as darker and larger than freckles, and age spots as dark spots that are raised like warts.

I decided on RePot because I was most drawn to the fact that, unlike other lasers that require multiple treatments to remove the problem step by step, RePot can remove it all in one go.
However, the cost is slightly higher than other lasers.
My mom had a procedure to remove a large dark spot on her cheekbone.
After receiving the laser treatment, you need to wear a Duoderm healing bandage for two weeks!
So, they felt a little uncomfortable with this.
Because this Duoderm gets shabby later on 🥹
If you go back to the dermatologist after two weeks, they will remove the Duoderm, and the blemish will come off completely along with the Duoderm.

When I first removed the Duoderm, there was a slight redness, but it healed over time.
And my aunt, who saw my mom, also got her dark spots removed haha.

The director did not proceed with the same laser for everyone unconditionally; since he said that skin tags could be cleared up completely with a regular laser instead of Repat depending on the skin condition, Dad received two types of lasers.

For reference, this was my dad's first time getting a dermatological procedure like this, and after getting it done, he was 200% satisfied! He really loved it.
What my family was most satisfied with was that it was completely removed with a single laser treatment, rather than having to visit the dermatologist multiple times. The director seems to be very skilled.

It worked well for me, so I didn't get any additional treatments.
Since it is hair removal, the effects are not permanent, so I might need the laser again over time, but so far, it is holding up well.
It was the first time for all four of us—my parents, aunt, and I—to get laser hair removal and dark spots, but we were very satisfied because they were removed more cleanly than expected.
I especially liked hair removal because the results are visible right away.
It is affordable, and it only stings a little during the first one or two sessions; there is no pain after that, so I highly recommend it.
They say that the Repot laser has more advantages than disadvantages, except for the fact that you have to wear a Duoderm bandage for two weeks.
My parents also look much cleaner as their blemishes have been cleared up after the procedure.
What I liked most was that the director didn't just perform the procedure; they explained and proceeded according to my skin condition.
It wasn't a factory-style procedure where everyone was done the same way like a machine!
My whole family was satisfied with this hospital, so I think I can literally call it the dermatology clinic of a lifetime!
