I received treatment from the Chief Director.

 

My fingernails started throbbing after I returned from a trip last year, and bruising began to appear starting from the base of the nails.

The color gradually got darker and turned pitch black.

Come to think of it, I once lost my grip on the handle while retrieving my suitcase at the airport and dropped it, and my hand got trapped under the bag.

It happened when I was returning home, so I think the cause was that my suitcase was so heavy.

At first, I didn't go to the hospital thinking it would be okay, but

It got increasingly painful, and felt just like a heart beating in my fingernails? It was burning and stinging.

They told me it would sting a little, and since my fingernails were already dead, it wouldn't hurt more than it does now.

I poked two holes in my fingernails to drain the blood, and dark red blood gushed out.

I had my blood drawn, was prescribed a three-day supply of anti-inflammatory painkillers, and left the hospital.

 

 

I was so shocked by the remark that they had to poke a hole and drain the blood.

The director smiled and comforted me, saying it was okay, and I felt relieved.

As expected, when it comes to hospitals, the doctor's skill is important, but

I think friendliness is also a factor that makes patients revisit the hospital.

After receiving treatment and taking medicine, the pain definitely went away.

The swelling has gone down a bit, and the pressure has decreased.

I wish I had come sooner.

I followed the director's instructions to avoid touching my nails as much as possible and not to intentionally pull them out even if they were about to fall off.

 

(A few days after the blood was drawn, my fingernails turned white, and from then on, it didn't hurt.)

 

It took a little less than a month for the bruised fingernail to fall off, and

I think it took about 5 months for my new fingernails to grow.

Now, they have grown into clean, new nails.

 

 

Although subungual hematomas can heal naturally without visiting a hospital,

If I had endured it without going to the hospital, I think it would have taken much longer to recover.

Perhaps thanks to draining the stagnant blood and taking medicine, my fingernails fell off faster than expected, and new ones grew in quickly.

Since the injured part was my fingernail, I thought it would just heal on its own.

If your fingernails are filled with black blood, I think you definitely need hospital treatment!!
