Dizziness relief after orthostatic hypotension test at Shinsegye Neurosurgery Clinic in Jung-gu
2026.04.02 09:27
The dizziness I felt whenever I sat down and stood up worsened, so I suspected I might have orthostatic hypotension and visited a neurology clinic for an accurate diagnosis. At the clinic, I underwent three tests: blood pressure measurement, an autonomic nervous system test, and a blood test. Fortunately, the results came back normal. Although I was relieved that I hadn't worried about a serious illness, the dizziness I feel when suddenly standing up still remains, so I think I need to be careful for the time being. The director advised me to avoid sudden changes in posture and to drink plenty of fluids, as these symptoms of low blood pressure can occur even with normal results. If you are suffering from unexplained dizziness like me, I recommend getting tested at a neurology clinic.
