My first laser hair removal treatment at Yonsei A-In Clinic in Seoul.

I had underarm laser hair removal before summer last year.

Although my hair wasn't thick, I had some hair roots, so I was a bit annoyed by the dark patches that still appeared after shaving myself. I felt like shaving every time was not enough.

 

One thing I was a little worried about was

I saw a review saying that the laser hurts a lot because the skin under the armpit is thin.

They explained that the number of hair removal sessions varies depending on the individual's hair volume, and the basic package was 5 sessions, but since I don't have much hair volume, I only received the basic 5 sessions.

By the way, the laser was Apogee.

The director told me in advance that there might be a slight stinging sensation right before the procedure.

They said that you can shower on the day of the procedure and just avoid the sauna.

 

Let me give you a tip!

When receiving underarm laser treatment, it is best to shave lightly with a razor at home.

They say that if you clean up right before the procedure, it can cause irritation!

And when you go to get the procedure, it is best to wear a sleeveless T-shirt that is comfortable to wear under your armpits.

If you forget to bring a T-shirt, that's okay!

Most dermatologists will probably have sleeveless tees and gowns available.

 

The laser hair removal treatment time was very short, about 2 to 3 minutes.

To be honest, at first it felt like an electric shock was going on and it was really tingly..!

I think it was probably because it was the first time.

 

So after the procedure, my armpits were really red.

There is no problem, it is a natural phenomenon, and I applied the moisturizing cream provided at the dermatologist's office.

 

Actually, I didn't feel much of a change in the first and second rounds.

From the third time onwards, the hair follicle marks became noticeably lighter and it no longer stings.

It's been almost a year since I had laser hair removal and I'm still seeing results.

Armpit laser treatment is a very simple procedure with almost no side effects, incomparable to facial laser treatment.

I am satisfied now that my hair is fine and I don't need any additional treatments.

If I grow out over time, I plan to come back and get it done again. I don't want to go back to the stressful days of shaving.
