My child had a high fever, but it wouldn't go down even with fever reducers, and he was listless, so I went to the hospital to get an IV. Maybe it was because it was the weekend, but there was a really long wait even though we went before they opened. The COVID-19 and flu AB tests came back in one result, so we were able to confirm them. My child was very scared because it was his first time getting an IV, but they did a great job and it was quick! My child had the flu for the first time, so I didn't know what to do... But I was relieved that his condition was improving so much that I could see it. I definitely plan to come back whenever I think my child is getting worse! I was surprised that the payment amount was higher than a regular hospital fee, but they kindly took care of the insurance claim documents for me! It's natural for a child to be scared of shots, but they understood that and treated me with soothing care, which was nice!
