I am an expatriate Korean living in New Zealand, over 65 years old, and hold dual citizenship. I am taking medication for diabetes and hyperlipidemia. Two and four years ago, I had a colonoscopy where two and four polyps were removed, respectively, and the biopsies came back negative. I recently received a colonoscopy from Dr. Kim Hye-young of Seo-eul Kwon & Kim Internal Medicine Clinic. My diabetes and hyperlipidemia levels were slightly higher than the recommended range, but she advised that diet and exercise would improve my condition. She also removed seven polyps, and biopsies revealed that six were normal, but one was an adenoma. She advised me to have a colonoscopy within the next year or two. I was very satisfied with the director's detailed explanations and the hospital staff's kindness.
