Samsung Eye Clinic in Mapo-gu: Mom's Cataract Surgery Experience

My mother is 74 years old, and she had been going to the ophthalmologist for regular checkups for the past few years because of artificial tear drops. She was told that her cataracts were severe and that she needed surgery. We scheduled the surgery for two weeks and came in today for the surgery. The doctor in charge was very kind and spoke from the patient's perspective. I think it was great. The doctors change often, but I hope this doctor stays for a long time. I also consulted with the nurses about the surgery, and they were very kind. My mother was worried about the pain, but they reassured her. After the surgery, she said that she was doing better than she thought. The operating room is upstairs, and the facilities are very clean and warm, as you can see in the picture. She had the surgery on her right eye today and her left eye tomorrow. She endured it well and did well.
