The friendly staff at Seoul Yonsei Boram Orthopedic Clinic made the long wait bearable, but the manual therapy was disappointing.

One day, my shoulder started to hurt and the pain got worse, so I went to Yonsei Boram Orthopedic Surgery, and there were a lot of people waiting in the waiting room. The waiting time seemed to be long every time I went, but the doctors, nurses, and physical therapists were all kind, so I was able to endure it.
An ultrasound of my shoulder showed only a little inflammation, but why is the pain so bad? I received shockwave therapy and anti-inflammatory injections, but the healing process was so slow that I went for almost six months. Later, they recommended manual therapy, so I did. It only took 30 minutes. They diagnosed the painful area and explained how to stretch. The time flew by, and I felt like it wasn't worth the money, so I stopped going. The pain that had improved a little bit still comes back occasionally, but I don't think it'll get better even if I go, so I'm just living with it. I'm afraid they'll recommend manual therapy again, so I avoid going. I'm satisfied with everything else at this hospital, but since they introduced manual therapy, I feel a bit burdened.
