This is a review after visiting a Korean medicine clinic because of my wrist.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome, so I experience a dull, tingling sensation almost every day when I turn my wrist.
If you feel a little stiff and do wrist rotation exercises, you will hear a clicking sound.
I use the computer a lot at work and often lift heavy objects, so my wrists seem to have gotten worse.
The pain in my wrist was especially bad when I woke up in the morning, and on the worst days, the pain spread all the way up to my elbow, making my arm hurt.
I felt like I needed to loosen up some muscles, so I went to a Korean medicine clinic for treatment.
Bitullim Oriental Medical Clinic is located in Jonggak Station, Seoul.
There's no sign on the building, so it's not very noticeable, but it's close to the station. I think it's about a 3-4 minute walk.
Clinic hours

When I entered the examination room, the director examined me very thoroughly.
He diagnosed me by pressing each muscle in my hand and arm to find out which muscle was causing the problem.
Each area that he pressed felt both painful and refreshing, and every time he pressed, I would nod, saying, “Yes, that’s right, yes, that’s right.” It was so amazing that he only pointed out the painful areas, which increased my trust in the director.
When I told him that it was my first time receiving wrist treatment, he explained it in detail and gave me a variety of treatments.
The first is magnetic field therapy
This was my first time trying magnetic field therapy, so I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I remember being told it activates cells and helps relieve pain. It felt so refreshing!
Second physical therapy
I was worried that it wouldn't attach well since my wrist is narrow, but it did.
Third acupuncture treatment
I've never had acupuncture before, so I was nervous, but it didn't hurt. I heard there are painful acupuncture treatments, but thankfully, I didn't feel any pain.
Fourth swelling treatment
Swelling is something that requires additional treatment, and on this day, my arms were in so much pain that I also received swelling treatment.
Swelling marks haha. Since it's on the wrist, the swelling is very minimal~
I received these four treatments.
I think this is the hospital where I received the most diverse treatment among all the hospitals I've been to.
There is also Chuna therapy, but I was told that I didn't need to go that far, and I felt that they didn't overtreat me, which was nice!!
In particular, the director and the nurses were all very friendly and spoke comfortably throughout the treatment, so I felt at ease.
It was better because there were no people who were prickly or manneristic.
Since health insurance was also applied, I received good treatment without worrying about the cost!
