I visited Komoki ENT Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul.
It was not the ENT clinic I usually go to, but a hospital I visited urgently.
I have chronic post-nasal drip syndrome and rhinitis, so I produce a lot of phlegm.
I had to speak a lot during the work meeting that day, but I was very uncomfortable because I was coughing and producing a lot of phlegm.
For those with post-nasal drip, you know that once phlegm forms, it doesn't go away easily, and you often cough frequently. Especially, every time you cough, more phlegm is produced. That phlegm caused a lot of pain in my throat.
Even if I want to control myself, I can't help but be restrained 😳
In particular, post-nasal drip phlegm must be expectorated...
I thought it wouldn't work, so I searched for an ENT clinic nearby at that time and hurriedly went in.
Gangnam Komoki ENT Clinic is located right in front of Gangnam Station, making it easy to find.

I checked and went in the afternoon.
Perhaps because I went on a weekday afternoon, there were no waiting people, so I went straight into the consultation room.
Even though it was my first visit, both the doctor and the nurses were very kind.
After the consultation, I moved to the respiratory treatment room.
I'm not sure of the exact name, but it seems to be humidifier therapy.
I haven't tried this at my previous ENT clinic, but I think it's good to try.
Medication prescriptions are usually for three days, but since post-nasal drip is a condition that has no complete cure, the only solution is to manage it as needed.
So I requested about a week's worth of medication and a cough syrup prescription, and they gladly prescribed it for me.

Cough syrup is really effective for me personally. When I have a sore throat or a lot of phlegm, taking this really helps immediately!
Since it has a strong effect, it is an opioid painkiller that can only be purchased with a prescription, so I got a prescription when I visited the ENT department.
It is a hospital where I received my medication prescription kindly and satisfactorily.
