Does the face appear temporarily swollen after the Sculptra procedure?

I heard that Sculptra is a procedure people look into when they want to naturally improve their volume.

However, I'm a bit confused because I saw that the appearance immediately after the procedure can be different from how it looks after some time.

I am wondering if the effect feels significant at first because it looks swollen, and if it actually changes later, or how long I need to wait to judge the changes. For those of you with experience, how did you monitor the progress?
