Sharing my review of Rejuran.

I'm approaching forty the day after tomorrow. I'm still technically in my thirties, but I feel like my face is aging with every passing year. I couldn't just sit by and watch my face look like this, so I visited a new dermatology clinic that opened in front of my office. I did go to a dermatologist a few years ago to get rid of blemishes and freckles, but since then, I haven't really wanted to do anything to my face, so I just lived with it. As a result, I had absolutely no idea what treatment to get. I heard Rejuran is good these days, so I made an appointment and told them I would decide after the consultation. What's great about this place is that the consultation isn't handled by a coordinator or a clinic staff member, but by the director himself. Usually, there's a dedicated staff member for consultations. Anyway, I thought it was perfect, so I asked various things I'd been curious about. Since he recommended Rejuran, I decided to go ahead with it. Rejuran is typically administered in 2cc increments, and you need 4cc to cover your entire face. 2cc would have been fine, but since it felt a bit spaced out, and it had been a while since I last visited, I decided to go all out and get 4cc since I was investing in it.

After applying numbing cream and lying down, I was moved to the treatment room. Rejuran is notoriously painful, but it was bearable. I remembered a coworker who said they cried because it hurt so much while getting the injections, having received them via the Juvelux device instead of Rejuran. The doctor administered the injections by hand, one by one; some spots were particularly painful, while others were manageable. My forehead and cheeks were manageable, but the area near my temples was a bit sore, though not enough to bring me to tears. To alleviate the pain, they used a vibrator to distract my nerves and asked how I was feeling, which made me feel a bit better. I asked how others felt, but they said there is a lot of variation among people, with some saying they didn't feel anything at all. Actually, the Botox I got because I was self-conscious about fine lines on my forehead was more painful. They told me to frown to locate the injections, and I got about four spots on my forehead; Botox is much more painful than Rejuran. Still, since it was over quickly, I just endured it and moved on. With Rejuran, the face appears bumpy on the day of treatment, which is called "embossing." It is said that the procedure was successful only if the embossing is prominent.

They say that the effects of Rejuran appear after about a week. Personally, After about 4 or 5 days, I felt like my complexion had brightened, and my husband's face looked brighter as well. "...on weekends when I don't wear makeup, my face looks dull, so I usually dab on some foundation when I have to go out, but now my skin tone looks quite good. The dull, earthy complexion has disappeared. Perhaps because of that, my makeup seems to apply better. Also, the tight, dry feeling from within has vanished. Sometimes, when I stay under the air conditioner for a long time, the surface of my face might get oily while the inside feels stiff, but perhaps because of the injections, that inner dryness has completely vanished."
