I want to overcome somatization disorder. Will psychological therapy be helpful?
These days, I am struggling a lot with somatization disorder.
I'm feeling sick and uncomfortable, but since the hospital couldn't find a specific reason for somatization disorder, I feel even more frustrated.
Even though I knew it was a matter of the mind, I couldn't get better easily, so I blamed myself a lot unnecessarily.
Recently, I have been considering whether to try psychological therapy.
I heard that if you manage your emotions and mind well, physical symptoms can also improve.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but I still want to feel even the smallest change.
It may not get better immediately, but I think it's worth trying if there's even a slight chance of improvement.
Somatization disorder is ultimately a mental health issue. However, I still don't really understand my own mental state, and I think that's the bigger problem.
