Presbyopia correction was done with multifocal lenses.
A new board called Presbyopia Correction has been created, so I was tempted to ask if there is such a thing as presbyopia correction surgery. However, it seems there is no such surgery. The presbyopia correction surgery promoted by some hospitals is probably the method of inserting multifocal lenses during cataract surgery. Since it is not covered by insurance, the surgery costs 5-6 million won per eye... Recently, even though the age or condition is not necessary, many articles mention that people get tempted and undergo surgery, only to be unable to receive reimbursement from their actual loss insurance or face very strict screening.
Anyway, I think they're talking about that surgery, but even with multifocal procedures, many people find it just as uncomfortable as wearing multifocal glasses.
I also think I recently developed presbyopia... At this age to already have presbyopia... I tried to pretend I didn't notice and look good, but eventually I reached my limit and got new glasses. In the past, multifocal lenses with intermediate lines in glasses felt very much like old people's glasses, but nowadays, with improved technology, it's possible to have multifocal glasses that look like regular lenses. So I bought one at a bit of a high price. At first, it made me dizzy, but once I got used to it, it was okay. I just need to tilt my head slightly up or down as needed, haha. Compared to the convenience of perfect vision when it's working well, it's very inconvenient, but for now, I plan to live like this. Getting older is sad, haha.
