Symptoms suspected of cataracts

I had LASIK surgery 20 years ago. As I neglected proper care and as I age, my eyesight has significantly deteriorated. Recently, I have been experiencing worsening blurred vision and difficulty seeing clearly. It feels similar to cataract symptoms, so I am considering visiting an ophthalmologist. I have seen people around me who have cataracts and are being treated with eye drops instead of immediate surgery; is that possible?

I'm worried about the surgery because it's my eye that had LASIK.
