Probability of developing cataracts

I have pretty bad eyesight.

Are people with very poor eyesight more likely to develop cataracts?

Are there any other early symptoms of cataracts besides cloudiness?

Is it possible to have LASIK or LASEK after cataract surgery?

I'm always worried because my eyesight is poor.
