Calf varicose veins

A friend seems to have varicose veins in their calves.

It's just my personal opinion, but I can see small blood vessels protruding like tiny veins in my calves. I didn't know much about it before, but after reading the posts here, it seems similar.

Will I get better after surgery? How will the surgical procedure proceed? I am curious about the cost.
