Could it be varicose veins?

My mother-in-law has been experiencing ongoing leg issues lately.

It's swelling...

Only the right leg is swollen quite badly. ㅠ

Especially from the ankle to the top of the foot, it feels tight and stiff.

They say it's swollen and uncomfortable to walk.

Veins are protruding on the paper.

There are no visible symptoms...

People around me say it might be varicose veins.

They mentioned having some symptoms of numbness.

It could be varicose veins even if the veins don't protrude.
