(Concern) Until what age are LASIK and LASEK possible?

I went for LASIK and LASEK in my twenties, but I was told I couldn't because my corneas were too thin. I also have severe astigmatism. So, I have been living with glasses and hard contact lenses until I turned 40. I'm the only one around me who wears glasses. I've always wanted to do it, and now I think it's possible because the technology has improved.

I'm worried that it's too late to go back to the hospital for a check-up. Usually, until what age are LASIK and LASEK possible?
