I sometimes hear a high-pitched ringing sound in one ear. Could this be tinnitus?

I've heard that tinnitus is difficult to cure completely. Recently, when I'm tired, I hear a ringing sound in my ears and they feel clogged; could this be a temporary symptom?

Or could it be that tinnitus symptoms have started?
