There are so many types of lifting procedures; what criteria should I use to choose one?
Lately, I've been concerned about facial sagging, so I'm looking into lifting procedures, but it's difficult to choose because there are so many types. At first, I thought I could just get a simple lift at a dermatology clinic, but the more I researched, the more I realized that procedures like Ulthera, Thermage, InMode, and Shurink have various names and seem to differ slightly in their methods. Since there is a significant price difference, I'm wondering if the more expensive procedure is necessarily the best option.
My biggest concerns are my blurred jawline and slight sagging in my cheeks. My skin elasticity also seems to have decreased compared to before, so I would like my face to feel a bit firmer overall; however, I do not want my face to become too gaunt or look artificial. I am wondering what type of lifting procedure is generally considered in this situation.
For those who have undergone the procedure, I am curious to know how you decided on it based on your skin condition and concerns. I would also like to know if it is advisable to consult with several clinics before making a decision, and whether it is essential to check for side effects and duration of results, in addition to the effectiveness, during the consultation. Please share any consultation methods or precautions you recommend for someone receiving a lifting procedure for the first time.
