[Review] Honest Review of 18 Thread Lifts Near Sinsa Station (Before and After/Pain/Swelling)
Lately, whenever I look in the mirror, I feel like my mid-face is sagging and my face is becoming more square, so I'm really stressed out...
In the end, I went to Shinsa Station Dermatology Clinic and got a thread lifting done!!
I'm leaving this here to share information in case there are others who are worried about wrinkles or deep wrinkles like me.
📍 Location & Hospital Atmosphere
-
Location: 5 minutes from Exit 8 of Sinsa Station. Easy to find as it's on a main road.
-
Atmosphere: White tones with soft lighting. It's clean and doesn't feel like a hospital at all. Each consultation room is separate, providing privacy.
💬 Consultation Process (18 rooms to be decided)
The director is really thorough. While looking in the mirror, he pointed out the direction of my facial muscles and the cause of my sagging.
-
We decided to put in 16 lifting rooms + 2 volume rooms = 18 in total.
-
I actually trusted them because they told me honestly about the maintenance period and side effects (dimples, swelling, etc.).
🤔 What is the pain and feeling of the procedure after thread lifting?
-
No general anesthesia, no incision
-
To be honest, I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but the nurses were so kind that I held on.
-
The director will carefully review the design before the procedure.
-
The procedure took about 30-40 minutes? It was over faster than I thought, so I said, "Already?"
📸 Immediately after treatment vs. changes after one week
-
On the day: There is some swelling around the cheekbones due to the anesthesia solution. But you can immediately see that the jawline has become a V-line.
-
One week later: The swelling has completely subsided. The most satisfying part is the smoothing of my nasolabial folds. The midface lift makes my face look shorter and more elastic.
⚠️ Post-treatment care tips
-
Medication: Take the prescribed medication for 5 days without fail (to prevent inflammation)
-
Ointment: Apply ointment thoroughly to the wounded area starting 3 days later.
-
Swelling: lifting band + Cold compress + pumpkin juice combination recommended.
✨ Overall Review
Personally satisfied ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There is no need to worry about scars because there is no incision, and you can go back to work the next day.
Of course, there will be differences in dimples and pain for each person, but I am very satisfied with the lines being organized.
We'll have to wait and see, but so far it seems like a huge success!

- 01CommentsThe treatment approach for nasolabial folds may vary depending on the degree of hollowness and the extent of cheek sagging. If the grooves themselves are deeply indented, filling them with fillers is effective for immediate improvement. On the other hand, if the wrinkles are caused by sagging cheek skin, lifting them with Ultherapy or thread lifting provides a more natural look. I recommend consulting with a clinic to accurately determine the cause and making a comprehensive decision.231026.10.29
- 02CommentsOndari Lifting features a powerful cooling system integrated into the handpiece itself, so there is virtually no pain or heat during the procedure. Since the sensation is more of a warm heat rather than a tingling sensation, many people receive the treatment comfortably without anesthetic cream. It is also a highly satisfying procedure for defining the double chin and deep cheek lines.160026.10.29
- 03CommentsRather than mixing up various procedures from the start, I think it would be better to start with just the one area you are most concerned about. I would probably start by consulting about the part that bothers me the most when I look in the mirror.190026.10.29
- 01CommentsI also looked for lifting creams before getting a consultation. I could definitely feel the hydration when I applied them, but I didn't really notice any significant improvement in my pores. However, since consistently moisturizing and taking good care of your skin's condition through sun protection helps, I think it would be a good idea to start with home care rather than expecting dramatic results.500026.10.18
- 02CommentsRadiofrequency or ultrasound lifting is a procedure you can comfortably receive at any time, largely regardless of the season. However, during the summer, your skin is easily irritated by sweat and strong UV rays, so you need to pay extra attention to soothing and sun protection. Conversely, in winter, managing dryness is essential, so you must provide thorough moisturizing care. Rather than focusing on the season, I recommend getting the treatment on a weekend or during a break when you have no important schedules.464026.10.23
- 03CommentsI think this is a perfectly understandable concern you might have while on your diet. When you hit a plateau, slightly adjusting your usual diet or adding light strength training to boost your basal metabolic rate are good solutions. I hope you don't give up and continue with your healthy routine!1495026.10.26
- 01CommentsTune Face allows for precise control of energy depth, making it suitable even for those with less cheek volume. Its major advantage is that it delivers high-frequency elasticity to the necessary areas while minimizing concerns about cheek hollowing. Satisfaction is high as you can expect both overall skin texture improvement and tightening effects. I hope this helps with your decision regarding the procedure.1942026.09.30
- 02CommentsI see you were very curious about the downtime for the Onda Lifting procedure due to concerns regarding jawline elasticity. While individual differences exist, the Onda Lifting generally causes minimal bruising or swelling, so only slight redness usually occurs on the day of the procedure. You can apply makeup and resume your daily activities without any issues the following day, so please feel free to schedule a consultation.781026.10.09
- 03CommentsIf it were me, I would start by getting the procedure that is your top priority. If your biggest concern is sagging facial contours, I would recommend Ultherapy; if you are more concerned about dull skin, fine lines, or loss of elasticity, I would suggest consulting about Thermage first. Then, observe the results for about two months and proceed with treatments to address any remaining issues. Rather than getting both procedures at once, I think it is better to try one first, taking your skin condition into account!932126.10.21
