Introducing the post-operative review of Yeosu Bright Eye Clinic's pterygium surgery.

I developed a pterygium in my right eye and it didn't interfere with my daily life, so I just left it alone. However, when I am tired, my right eye becomes bloodshot and I feel fatigued, so I went to Yeosu Bright Eye Clinic.

There were several staff members, so division of labor was well organized, and after registering at the hospital, the ophthalmologist immediately performed various eye examinations, which made me trust the process even more. During the consultation with the doctor, we scheduled the surgery date, and finally, I lay on the surgical bed. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes, and I covered my right eye with an eye patch before returning home. On the first day after the surgery, I was working, but since I could only see out of one eye, there was some discomfort, but no pain at all, so I didn't take any painkillers. The next day, I went to the hospital, took off the eye patch, and observed the progress. For about two weeks after the surgery, I visited daily to check the eye's condition, receiving frequent painkiller injections in the hip, which gave me confidence that the surgery was successful, deepening my trust. Since I experienced no pain and didn't take painkillers, I was advised that inflammation could occur, so the doctor kindly explained that I should take painkillers and antibiotics for about a week, and I followed the instructions carefully and took them properly.

Today, I visited the hospital again to check the condition of my eyes, and the prognosis is good, so they suggested a follow-up once a month.

I also received additional instructions to frequently apply artificial tears and antibiotic eye drops.

Young people tend to have recurrences easily, so I am very satisfied because they also apply eye drops well and explain thoroughly.
