Today, I have a spinal surgery appointment at Daejin Hospital, but my youngest child has a fever and a sore throat, so I went to the pediatrics department on the way there.

The Pediatrics and Adolescent Department uses a different building from other departments, so it is a place where children who are vulnerable to infection can receive treatment safely.

In front of the building for children and adolescents, there is a fountain garden that children will love, and you can see it from inside.

The weather seemed to have gotten a bit cooler in the mornings and evenings, but there were a lot of children patients even though it was a weekday.

As expected of a pediatric hospital, the hospital was decorated in a colorful and pretty way.

While waiting for treatment, I looked up the teacher's resume here and there, thanks to the nurses' kind explanations and guidance.

I received treatment from the vice director of Daejin Hospital.

She was really kind and told me not to use the fan before going to bed and to drink lukewarm water rather than cold water. She said that if I take my medicine and listen to what I say, I will get better soon. Haha.

Since it was a general hospital, I only thought of the emergency room in case of an emergency, but when I learned that there was a Dalbit Hospital nearby, I thought it would be a great help to parents raising children.

I used to go to the emergency room whenever my sons had a fever, but now I have to use the pediatrics department at Daejae Moonlight Children's Hospital.

 

In a reality where many pediatric clinics are disappearing, I hope that more Moonlight Children's Hospitals like this will be established.
