My finger was deeply indented, red, and in such severe pain that I thought I had fractured it, so I rushed to Madi Orthopedics to get an X-ray. They asked me to bend and straighten my hand, inquired about how I got injured, and kindly explained my condition while carefully examining the X-ray results. Fortunately, there was no fracture or crack, so I was given a few days' worth of medication and an aluminum splint for my little finger. I also received physical therapy. I was told to wear the aluminum splint for about two weeks to avoid putting strain on my hand.
