A few days ago, my throat started to scratch, not only when I ate but also when I drank water. This morning, it got to the point where I couldn't even speak. Without even eating breakfast, I went to a family medicine clinic near my house. Perhaps because of the cold snap, there were a lot of cold patients, so I waited for a while before being able to go into the examination room. The lobby and the examination room were both well-organized, so I was able to receive treatment comfortably. I was told that my throat was very swollen due to the cold. I got a shot to help me recover faster, got a prescription, and went home to get some medicine. After taking the medicine, I lay down, and maybe it was the medicine that made me fall asleep. I woke up after a couple of hours, and my throat felt much better. The medicine was effective, but the injection definitely helped speed up my recovery.
