[Concern] It's difficult to perform implant surgery due to osteoporosis
It has been 10 months since my family members received osteoporosis injections in order to undergo implant procedures.
Previously, I was receiving osteoporosis injections every three months, but in order to undergo implant surgery, I was told I shouldn't receive osteoporosis injections for at least six months, so I haven't been getting them and am receiving dental treatment instead.
In April, I extracted the tooth that would be implanted after completing cavity and root canal treatments. About a month later, after the gum and bone had healed to some extent, I placed the implant root. The molar was implanted without bone grafting, but the issue concerns the front tooth. For the front tooth, I removed a part of the adjacent tooth, performed bone grafting, and then did the first implantation, but the recovery is slower.
The molar has a screw fixed to secure the implant tooth after root placement, but the front tooth has not healed yet and is waiting.
The front tooth that underwent bone grafting is said to recover slowly.
I'm worried about whether it is related to osteoporosis.
Another concern is whether bone health will remain good if I don't receive osteoporosis injections for such a long time. Is there any way to manage osteoporosis without injections, using other methods?
Have you stopped the osteoporosis treatment injection?
If there are people who have successfully completed their implants
Please give me some advice~
