My husband has gout.
In my early 30s, I suddenly had foot pain, so I went to the hospital, and I found out after the examination.
They say that when gout occurs, the stabbing pain makes it very difficult to endure. ㅜ
If it gets worse, the thumb can become swollen and turn red.
When you go to the hospital, they only prescribe medication to lower uric acid levels.
My husband is a bit overweight, so every time we go to the hospital, I hear a lot of comments about losing weight.
Since dieting is hard, I kept ignoring it, but a few years ago I made a big decision and successfully lost weight.
After losing about 15 kilograms, my uric acid levels returned to the normal range and I no longer feel any pain.
But starting this year, she keeps going to the hospital saying her feet hurt again.
I am losing weight and not drinking alcohol because of gout. I am continuously taking medication to lower my uric acid levels.
I guess I need to change my eating habits too.. When I search, I find that gout patients really have nothing to eat.. I can't just eat greens all the time.
How do you manage patients with gout?
