There is no pain or any symptoms in my ear, but a little discharge is coming out.

Since a month ago, it hasn't been flowing from my ear to the point of discharge, but when I insert a cotton swab and clean it, a little comes onto the cotton swab.
It oozes out to the point of getting wet.
I didn't go to the hospital because I didn't have any pain or other symptoms, is it okay?
