My hand is swollen, and the tips of my nails feel heavy and painful.

Last week, one of my fingers separated from the flesh, and I suffered for three or four days, but today my hand is swollen, and the fingertip feels heavy and painful. It's not a stinging pain but a dull ache like when you have a bruise. My nails are quite long, so I need to trim them, but regardless of that, my fingertips sometimes hurt like this. The color of my nails is unusually pale, so even a little growth makes them look very dirty, which bothers me. When I apply nail polish, it feels stuffy, and my hand swells, making it hard to breathe, so I don't wear nail polish often. The nail color is strange, and the constant pain at the fingertips worries me. Why are these symptoms appearing?
