Concern (from the back of the left pelvis to the outer side of the thigh, outer side of the foot, and toes, feeling numb and painful)
Recently, while packing for three days due to moving, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my left knee.
Did I just sit in a position where I suddenly felt pain for a long time? I thought it was because I stood up, so I just ignored it.
However, a few days ago, I woke up from sleep because my left pelvis was very painful, and since then, I have been experiencing numbness from my left pelvis to behind the knee, outer side of the leg, top of the foot, and toes. I can't clearly describe whether it's pain or numbness; it's uncomfortable.
I think I sprained my knee, but why do I feel pain from my pelvis down to my toes? If I go to the hospital, should I see an orthopedist? Or should I see a neurosurgeon (I read in a column that it could be pain originating from the spine, especially the lower back)? I think it's still too early to seek treatment at both places.
I initially thought my knee was hurting first, but I realize it might also be related to my lower back!!
Which department would be good to visit first? Please share your good suggestions!!
Even as I post this message now, my toes are numb and losing sensation. My knees also hurt.
