I smoked for about 30 years, but I was hospitalized in the intensive care unit for about a month, so I quit smoking involuntarily. It's been about 7 years since I quit, and now I don't even have the desire to smoke, so I think I have completely quit. However, I have one question. When you quit smoking, the lungs recover, but does anyone know how many years it usually takes? Currently, I have no phlegm or cough, but I wonder if my lungs have fully recovered.
