It's just as the title says. Sometimes I suffer greatly from unexplained itching.
I've never experienced these symptoms during the day; it only happened at night.
I scratch my whole body until my skin becomes really red and swollen because of the itching.
There are times when I keep going until I get so tired of scratching that I start to whimper like a child.
But when it itches, I don't get hives or anything on my body.
I wake up and feel perfectly fine, as if nothing happened.
So, I didn't really go to the hospital.
What could be the reason for experiencing itching only at night?
